Making Money Like Hell Having 2 Accounts With T2
Its "very" special, but its so damn profit-yielding, that I want to share it with you.
It is possible to play 2 accounts at the same time if you play in window mode. Maybe you are in the same lucky position having a second account with a 60er from a friend or guildie.
Whats the point? Farm lbrs Vosh’gajin (T0 Rogue gloves) and Voone (T0 hunter gloves). In the auction house you get 150g and more for these every day … If you play the 2 accounts alone in window mode and find a way to farm these, the whole profit is yours. The first trys I needed over an hour only for Vosh’gajin. Now I get both in less then 25 min. With this I made over 2k gold in the last 2 weeks with less than 2 hours of work a day.
I play a t2 priest and a t2 rogue. Can bypass nearly everything with stealth / Mind Soothe / rogue pulls => priest runs without aggroing => rogue vanish. Use of mindcontrol in every group.
Maybe possible with warrior/priest, druid/priest, druid/rogue, druid/druid? I don’t know. Try it out. If you find a way with your combo you get rich ^^. Maybe you don’t even need t2, but for voone your tank/rogue needs at least 4k hp unbuffed cause he sometimes hits very hard with a double 2k dmg mortal strike to leather. A high dodge/parry stat can save the healer mana (my rogue has about 36% dodge).
edit: Made a small screenshotguide for you: http://img301.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lbrst0farming6yt.jpg
EDIT: 31.07.2006: Don’t farm this way anymore. I think, blizzard lowered the dropchance of both gloves A LOT. When I posted this it was like 1 glove of 2 runs, now its like 1 of 10. In addition you doesn’t get as much money for them in the AH now – something about < 100g. . It’s no more worth the time.
Guide For New Boss In Dstrat Duo
The 3 things u need for this place are a Mage(ice-specced), Priest, and the Key to the City.
2 Drops that most will want but there is a +22 dmg/healing by spells neck piece, but main 2 are:
http://www.thotbott.com/?i=53595 -Waistband of Balzaphon
http://www.thottbot.com/?i=53574 -Staff of Balzaphon
This guide is for killing Balzaphon the new boss in Strat. This can be easily done by 2 ppl.
First is where the hard parts come it, aoe. Have the priest shackle pull one of the elites, and then go around corner and use Line of sight pull, once there, mage frost nova’s starts the aoe process, now there will be 2 elites roughly 1/2 healht down, and have priest dps em till dead, reshackleing the first one at that time for safety.
Then go to the left side near fountain, and attempt 2nd pull, watch out for ghouls and such, so that the pull is seemless, w/o problems(note: if pull goes bad, just run out and come back in, and attempt again). Then pull the 2 ghouls and the larger one, which patrol the area(this is where frost mage is best as they can kite the large elite, u dont want to just have the elite hit u as from lag or something, he did 1800 dmg in few secs on me, so kite em till dead), then shakle pull again the 3rd aoe. If you have pulled the 3 patrols first, u can shakle pull, if not, have mage pull, and shackle in the tunnel. Then the boss should be alone and ready for killing.
Killing the boss is easy, as a frost mage with lots of frost armor protection+coldsnap, its really easy to kill em as he uses frostbolts for dmg. Just go near the right side near a crate past Hearthsinger Forresten rare spawn(yes if he spawns u can easily kill em as well, little harder then balzaphone, but just as easy to do). The boss also drops 2 corrupter stones, nice bonus for the Ad grind now.
Fishing +Cooking 1-300
it will take you a minimum of 11 hours to complete this, but more likely about 14-15.
So let’s start:
Go to your fishing trainer and cook and pick up Fishing and Cooking skills.
Buy a fishing rod and a stack of shiny baubles (a lure that adds +25 to your fishing skill).
Your now ready to begin.
Horde
Best place to start is in Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore.
Go speak to Harn Longcast and buy Brilliant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snapper recipes off of him. Now start fishing in Stonebull Lake.
Equip your rod and then apply the shiny bauble lure to it, as this will make catching fish easier. You’ll want to catch about 60 Brilliant Smallfish and this should take about 40 minutes. You’ll find that by the time you have caught 60 Brilliant Smallfish, you’ll also have about 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers. Once you have 60, cook them. You can either build your own fire or jog back to Harn Longcast and use the fire in front of him. Cook the Brilliant Smallfish, then at level 50 start cooking Longjaw Mud Snappers (after learning the recipe you bought earlier).
You’ll need to go and catch Longjaw Mud Snappers now and the best place for these is the pond in Orgrimmar by Lumark the Fishing trainer (I know you’ve been catching quite a few where you are, but the ‘drop rate’ is a lot better in Orgrimmar).
Between levels 50 and 75 go learn journeyman fishing and cooking.
You’ll now need to catch about 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers to get your cooking up to 100.
Now go to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad and buy Bristle Whisker Catfish recipe off of Derak Nightfall.
Go to the river to the East of Tarren Mill and fish for Bristle Whisker Catfish. Depending on your cooking level, your going to need about 80-100 of these to get it up to 175.
Between levels 125 and 150 go learn expert cooking from trainer. You’ll need to go to Booty Bay and buy a book for your Fishing level. Speak to Old Man Heming and buy the book Expert Fishing: The Bass and You.
Once your up to 175 cooking, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace. Speak to Wulan and buy Mithril Head Trout recipe and start fishing on the pier there. Your going to need about 60 of these to get your cooking up to level 225.
At this point you should now have level 225 fishing and level 225 cooking. If your not level 35 yet, then this is as far as you can go. If you are level 35+ then you have two quests to complete before you can continue.
First quest: Cooking
Requirements: Level 35, 225 Cooking.
Go to Gadgetzan in Tanaris and speak to Dirge Quikcleave. He is in the tavern. He’ll want you to bring him 12 Giant Eggs, 10 Zesty Clam Meat and 20 Alterac Swiss. You should actually be able to buy the eggs and clam meat off of AH, but in case you can’t here’s where to find them. Now according to the quest Giant Eggs drop off of Rocs in Tanaris or any large bird. The best place I found for the eggs, was the owlbeast in The Hinterlands. Only needed to kill about 20 of these to get my 12 eggs. They are about level 43 ish, so if your not that high a level, get help or wait till you can handle them. The clam meat comes from clams, naturally! Well to save you swimming around the sea looking for clams, your better off killing turtles at Steamwheedle Port or Raventusk Village. The drop rate is quite high and you’ll have your clam meat in no time. The levels are 41 ish for Steamwheedle Port and 49-50 for Raventusk Village. The Alterac Swiss is the easiest part. Go to Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands and buy them off of the Inn Keeper. Hand them all in and you’ll get your Artisan Cooking.
Second Quest: Fishing
Requirements: Level 35, 225 Fishing.
You need to go and find Nat Pagle in Dustwallow Marsh. He is standing on a small island to the West of Theramore (58,60). He’ll ask you to catch four rare fishes for him. This quest is actually really easy and the only hard part is the amount of travelling involved. The fish you need to catch are:
Feralas Ahi – If you ride out West from Camp Mojache and fish the Verdantis River where the small bridge is by the Ogres, you’ll soon catch one.
Sar’theris Striker – Ride a little South out of Shadowprey Village and your there. Make sure the area comes up as Sar’theris Strand.
Savage Coast Blue Saffin – Just outside Grom’gol Base Camp. Make sure the area comes up as Savage Coast.
Misty Reed Mahi Mahi – Directly East from Stonnard. Just avoid the Murlocs.
You should catch these fish within 5 to 10 casts at each location. So it wont take long. The best order I’ve found to do this quest in is; (assuming you don’t already have all the flightpaths) From Dustwallow, ride to the Great Lift and then head West through Thousand Needles to Camp Mojache in Feralas – From Feralas, ride North West into Desolace and onto Shadowprey Village – From Desolace, fly to Thunderbluff – Fly to XR – Fly to Orgrimmar – Get Zeppelin to Grom’Gol Base Camp – Ride North to Duskwood – Ride East to Deadwind Pass – Ride through Deadwind Pass to Swamp of Sorrows.
Now go back to Nat and get your Artisan Fishing.
Ok, so your now at level 225 in both cooking and fishing and you’ve done your Artisan quests. Time for the home stretch.
Go to Steamwheedle port and speak to Gikkix, You’ll want to buy the following two recipes: Spotted Yellowtail and Poached Sunscale Salmon.
Now go to Raventusk Village in the Hinterlands and fish for Spotted Yellowtails. You’ll need about 30 to get your cooking from 225 to 250.
Now go to Bloodvenom Falls in Felwood and fish for Sunscale Salmon. You’ll need about 30 to get your cooking from 250 to 275.
Now go to Camp Mojache in Feralas and speak to Sheendra Tallgrass and buy the recipe for Mightfish Steak. Whilst your there buy about 40 Hot Spices and 40 Soothing Spices as your going to be making the food that you will want as a level 60 (without going into instances that is). It gives a +10 stamina buff for 15mins which is always helpful.
Now go to Scalebeard’s Cave in Azshara (its one of the islands to the East) and fish for Mightfish. You’ll need about 30 to get your cooking from 275 to 300. You may need to bring some lures with you at this point, as your cooking will level up faster than your fishing and Azshara is a 250+ fishing zone. Once your cooking is a 300, keep fishing till you’ve maxed out that too. It will take 7 to 10 catches to get one skill up at this point, so take your time.
Alliance
Best place to start is in Elwynn Forest.
Go speak to Nyoma by Crystal Lake and buy the recipes for Brilliant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snappers. Now start fishing in Crystal Lake.
You’ll want to catch about 60 Brilliant Smallfish to get your cooking from 1 to 50.
Now go to Stormwind City and fish the canals for Longjaw Mud Snappers. You’ll need about 50 of them to raise your cooking to 100.
Between levels 50 and 75 go learn journeyman fishing and cooking.
Now go to Southshore and speak to Donald Rabonne and buy the recipes for Bristle Whisker Catfish and Mithril Head Trout.
Go to the river to the east of Southshore and fish for Bristle Whisker Catfish. You’ll need about 80-100 of these to get your cooking to level 175.
Between levels 125 and 150 go learn expert cooking from trainer. You’ll need to go to Booty Bay and buy a book for your Fishing level. Speak to Old Man Heming and buy the book Expert Fishing: The Bass and You.
Now go to the Lakes outside Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands and fish for Mithril Head Trout. Your going to need about 60 of these to get your cooking up to level 225.
At this point you should now have level 225 fishing and level 225 cooking. If your not level 35 yet, then this is as far as you can go. If you are level 35+ then you have two quests to complete before you can continue.

Now go back to Nat and get your Artisan Fishing.
Go to Steamwheedle port and speak to Gikkix, You’ll want to buy the following two recipes: Spotted Yellowtail and Poached Sunscale Salmon.
Either fish for Spotted Yellowtails at Steamwheedle Port or go to Raventusk Village (well not to it, just a little North of it) for the slightly better drop rate. You’ll need about 30 to get your cooking from 225 to 250.
Now go to Bloodvenom Falls in Felwood and fish for Sunscale Salmon. You’ll need about 30 to get your cooking from 250 to 275.
No go and speak to Vivianna in The Feathermoon Stronghold and buy the recipe for Mightfish Steak. Whilst your there buy about 40 Hot Spices and 40 Soothing Spices as your going to be making the food that you will want as a level 60 (without going into instances that is). Bannok Grimaxe Soloing Guide Arcanite Reaper
Finding and Soloing Bannok Grimaxe
Bannok Grimaxe is a rare spawn in Lower Blackrock Spires. He has a rare drop of Plans: Arcanite Reaper. The Arcanite Reaper is a very powerful two handed axe which often faces some controversy as people say that it is overpowered and needs nerfed. (But then according to the same masses what doesn t need to be nerfed?)
Starting Information:
1. Bannok spawn rate: Approximately 2-5% (Estimation is based on several hundred runs.)
2. Plan drop rate: Approximately 10% (Estimation based on 10 kills and compaired to wow.allakhazam.com and www.thottbot.com)
3. Bannok always spawns in the same cluster of tents right before the named spider. However he does not always spawn at the same spot. He is always sitting Indian style and will spawn in 1 of 3 locations.
3A. With your back to the river of lava facing the tents he will spawn under the hut closest to you on your left. He will be facing away from you looking towards the other orcs.
3B. Moving down the corridor between the tents he will spawn in the corner on your right and he will be facing the direction of the first spawn point.
3C. Continuing down the corridor and into the large open area with the two giant cart s he will be sitting beside the big cart on your left at the front of it facing towards the sleeping guys behind the opposite cart. (Right at the edge of the wall where it turns left and heads towards the spiders.)
4. You must be level 60 to attempt soloing Bannok. While you might able to kill him by himself below level 60 it will be next to impossible to get him with out aggroing friends.
5. Crippling Poison is not necessary as he will not run away at low health.
6. Make a macro that is /target Bannok and put it on your bar.
7. For those wondering I am a 21/8/22 build.
Getting to and Finding Bannok Grimaxe:
1. Upon entering Blackrock Spires you will want to pick pocket one of the guards in the first room. (Explained later)
2. Watch for Patrollers and the Orc that paths back and forth from the fire in the first room. Go up the ramp to the right and immediately turn right towards the broken ledge and jump down.
3. Go down the ramp towards the Orcs and two Worgs. There is a patrol of 2 Orcs that go in and out of the door so watch out for them.
4. Going in the door you follow it until you see a small group of Orcs right outside the exit of the hall you re in. Hug the wall going right and jump off the ledge. There is a small ledge below that you can land on and yes its very dark on that ledge. (Be sure to hug the wall or you might land in the lava and die.)
5. Hugging the wall move forward until you come to the end and jump off. You are now in a corner on another ledge. Follow the new wall left until you come to the end of it. Looking down you should see a bunch of Orcs. Be sure to watch out for the single patroller and jump when it s clear.
6. Move so that you re at the edge of tents and press your Bannok key you made. (/target Bannok) If he s up go to the next part of the guide if he s not continue with the next step. You will be able to target him at all three locations with the macro even from the front of the huts, make sure to go to the edge of the huts though.
7. Ok so he s not up it is now time to head back up and reset the instance. (Expect this to happen a lot!) Follow the river of lava left and continue down that path. You ll come to a part with a troll who is very close to the wall that. You can safely walk behind him with out him aggroing you. But I advise not lingering to see what happens.
8. After continuing down the path you ll come into a large room full of Trolls. You have to cross the room and go up the ramp on the other side. (Again watch for patrollers there are several groups.)
9. Going up the ramp immediately turn right and go up the next ramp. You should now see 4 Trolls all facing each other. You can safely walk in between them with out drawing aggro. However be sure to watch out for the single patrolling Troll that goes from left to right and back.
10. Turn left and go up the ramp after reaching the top head for the door on the right side. There is one troll who will path through the door and then go back just outside the door to a stationary position be sure to watch out for him when going through this door.
11. After going through the door go up the ramp and immediately turn right. (Between the large pillar and the wall) You should come out near 3 Ogres. Hug the pillar go left.
12. Heading left you will see a series of rope bridges on your left hand side. Go across those bridges.
13. After crossing all the bridges there should be a ramp on the right side leading upwards. Go up that ramp and you ll find yourself at the door where you hugged the wall and jumped off the ledge in the beginning. From here getting out should be easy.
14. To reset the instance just invite some one while you re in the instance and then leave the group. (Be sure to be near the exit so that you have time to get out before you get kicked to the inn your hearthstone is bound)
15. After leaving the exit just go back in and Pick Pocket the same NPC you did before. If he has any loot you know it s a new instance. If his pockets are empty you will know it s the instance you where in before.
Soloing Bannok Grimaxe:
Basic Information:
1. Don t bother trying to back stab as there is not enough room to move around and back stab him in location 2 or 3. For this fight I just pulled my never before used Thrash Blade out of the bank and spammed Sinister strike.
2. Crippling poison is not necessary as he does no run away.
3. Open with Ambush when possible as you will want to immediately move back so that you don t aggro Bannok s buddies.
Location 1:
1. For this location I first wait for the patroller and after he starts going down the corridor between the tents I distract him. (Gives me an extra 10 seconds before he comes back)
2. I then open with a Cold Blood Ambush and immediately walk backwards towards the lava. (If not his friends will aggro.)
3. Immediately use Evasion and spam Sinister Strike and Eviscerate. (Use Cold Blood on Eviscerate if you haven t used it yet)
4. Now use preparation if you have it and use Evasion again once it wears off.
5. Spam Sinister Strike and Eviscerate (With Cold Blood if you have preparation) until he s dead. Use a potion if necessary. (For me I would finish each fight with about 1k hp left with out using a potion.)
6. Loot as quickly as possible and re-stealth before the roamer comes back. (You won t have much time and might have to stealth before looting.)
Location 2:
1. This is basically the same as location 1 the only difference being is the positioning for the fight. I tried to position him so that I was in the corner hitting him. But it turned out he would be out of range of my attacks but he could still hurt me. (Maybe it s a gnome thing?)
2. He is in the corner and you have two walls one very small and the other a very long one. Hug the small part of the wall and use your opener use the same tactics as location 1. (Nothing will aggro you.)
Location 3:
1. It is not possible to use an opener on this guy with out aggroing the other 3 orcs near by. (You will die very quickly.)
2. Make sure you have him targeted and go into the corner amongst the crates behind the big cart. Pull him to you with your ranged weapon. (Line of site is not an issue with the cart.)
3. Use the same strategy as the previous two locations for this part you might need a heal potion.
DM West Solo Farming(1000 GoldDay)
Not sure if this has been posted but i didnt see it anywhere. Anyways its quite simple and can easily get you a thousand gold in a day with some luck. The target is dm west and basically every mob in the first room. You have to be a ranged class with a healthy mana pool. I do it on my warlock and it works great with dots. Couple of my buddies(priest, mage) also do it fairly easily.
The spot you are going to be farming at is the ramp leading down to tendris warpwood(the big tree guy). There is a ledge on each side of this ramp. The mobs you want to target are the groups of trees and the round blue caster things. You can do the larger patrolling trees but they do punt you back so if u screw up youll get punted to the bottom and die. Simply pull a group back to the ramp then hop on either ledge on the side of the ramp near the top. They will run all the way down to the bottom then back up the ledge. If you hop to the middle they will go back to the bottom again then come after you. Then when they start getting near hop to the other ledge. During this time just start casting the second you hop on or off a ledge. Just keep repeating this till the group is dead. One thing to note though is that the tree groups have a healer called a guardian i believe who is colored purple. Do not attack him first. If you attack the regular ones a bit the healer will then begin to heal him but stays locked on him. After the first heal u can then down the healer then down everything else. It takes a bit to get used to but once u have it down its cake. Just gotta have patience with the pulls in between the patrols. Each mob drops good silver and u get greens and grey weapons a lot but the big money is with the librams.of focus that drop in here. Clearing that whole room gives you a decent chance of getting one and it only takes about 30-45 mins to clear the place. These things sell for 3-400g and they go quick.
Priests Guide To Killing Your Mobs the RIGHT Way
Alright, I decided to write this little ‘mini-guide’ because I keep hearing about people having problems with priest.
Priest is honestly not a hard class to play if you know how to play it right.
This isnt a guide to go out and kill Onyxia solo, this is for the average fight you encounter wherever, knowing how to start a fight properly, and knowing how to react to a sudden attack.
This really only applies to Soloing.
I. Starting a fight: This is for the times when you see a mob and have time to set up an attack.
1.Preparation
a. First thing you do is make sure all of your buffs are in order, Power Word: Fortitude, Inner Fire, Etc.
b. Pop on Power Word: Shield. Alot of people make the mistake of putting on PW:S after youve already hit the mob with your pulling spell..this is WRONG…so dont do it. Instead, turn on PW:S and wait until you have about 15 seconds left on it before attacking. Most mobs take down your shield within 15 to 20 seconds, this way your mana will have time to recharge plus, by the time the mob takes down your shield, you’ll be ready to pop on another one.
2. The Actual fight (first blow to last)
a. Many people start the fight with Mind Blast because it does the most damage and takes the longest to recharge, wrong. dont do it. Start the fight off with Smite…Yes you heard me, Smite. Nobody mentions smite in their guides because it takes FOREVER to cast. This is why you cast it in the beginning. The mob will then start rushing towards you. You want your second attack to be Mind Blast because you can cast it in the amount of time it takes the mob to get to you. From there you want to hit the mob with Shadow Word: Pain and start the DOT process. (If youre in a group, or taking damage at any point in the fight, cast Vampyric Embrace to get some health back)
b. So far your attacks should be (IN ORDER)
Smite
Mind Blast
Shadow Word: Pain
c. For the rest of the fight you want to cast in this order.
Mind Flay
Mind Flay
Mind Blast
Repeat.
And apply SW: Pain or PW:S again when necessary
II. Sudden attacks
1. Alot of the time youre going to get attacked by mobs that just spawned or ones that you didnt see. The outcome of this fight is dependant on reaction time…so the biggest tip is this. KNOW YOUR HOTKEYS. Quick reaction time can save you from certain death.
a. First things first, pop on Power Word: Shield. This thing should give you enough time to get the next couple of spells in.
b. Vampyric embrace, dont bother with Renew, Minor Heal, Flash Heal, or Heal, These take too long to cast and take up way too much mana. Rather regain health as youre attacking, your DOTs should bring you the amount of health that you need.
c. Shadow Word: Pain to start the DOT process.
d. From there just follow the steps in section 2 based on a normal fight.
Mind Blast
Mind Flay
Mind Flay
Mind Blast
Repeat.
And apply SW: Pain or PW:S again when necessary
This is really more of a guide to soloing than a group guide, its also entirely dependent on you being a shadow build.
PS: You cant cast Smite while in Shadow Form. Take that into account.
BG Force players out of the game No Rez
If you can mind control someone on the opposing team, and have the mind control active when they die, they will not be able to ressurect. They are now tagged as your faction and can’t find a graveyard. It’s possible that the only way to fix this right now is to log out/log in or afk out and get the deserter debuff.
Steps:
1. One faction priest (or possibly an engineer with MC cap) casts MC on opposing faction team member.
2. MC is still active when they die.
3. The dead player is now out of the game for a while.
Faster flag running’s in BGs
** Seasonal Exploit **
I wanted to mention to you all that while the Halloween event is going on, you can use Wisp Form and run flags in WSG at Wisp speed. It actually makes quite a bit of difference since no one can catch you if you have a lead on them.
1. Trick or treat from any Innkeeper and receive one of these two items
- http://www.thottbot.com/?i=52279
2. Cast it on Flag Runner.
Note – the flag carrier will not be able to attack or cast spells, best class to do this is a Warrior with a shield equipped, and a Priest assisting.

Luke Brown is an expert on farming as much as gold as possible in the shortest amount of time. His Cash Creating Guide is filled with over 100 pages of the best tips, tricks and step-by-step methods to generate gold for any WoW player – regardless of class, faction or level.
Unlike other gold creating guides, this book is full of 100% legal and legitimate ways to make gold. Other guides may have ways to unbelievable amounts of gold but you will be banned by Blizzard if you use those exploits or hacks. This guide is completely hack-free and uses only legitimate methods…
2. The Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide:
Ultimate WoW Guide contains the most variety of information from all the guides. It is the only guide that contains a complete professions guide for level 1-375 of the professions. Also, it is the only guide with an audio MP3 which you can burn to cd or ipod. However, there are some reasons this may not be the best guide for you.
If you are looking specifically for leveling guides only, I would recommend either Joana or Brian Kopp’s guide, because those guides exact step-by-step methods to get level 80 in the shortest amount of time possible. Easy Gold All You Need Is Patience
I used to make a mint buying items low and selling them high on the auction, but i got tired of sitting around the org. Recently I discovered a little trick that lets me grind/quest and troll the org trade channel.
All you have to do is create a new chat window and join the orgrimmar trade channel "Trade – Orgrimmar". This way you can go about your business AND keep an eye out for good deals. When you see something you like just relog as your alt. This works especially well late at night when people become desperate to unload their rares, as nobody is on to buy them. Just make sure your Auctioneer scans are up to date.
If you dont have auctioneer…. get it. Once you have a decent amount of capital you will make money like crazy and pick up some sweet gear at even sweeter prices.
