World of Warcraft biggest seller for The9 in China

was happy to announce some very positive sales reports according its recently released second quarter financial statement. A significant portion of these numbers owes its success to the company's flagship title in the country - namely, Blizzard's World of Warcraft.

The9 was able to pull in a record income and revenue of around US 66.3 million, US 60.7 million of which came from WoW and all its related properties there. The game generated a huge following in China earlier this year, when over 1 million concurrent users were reported online playing at one point.

The company also has several other MMO titles under its belt, although it's plain to see that WoW is clearly its main cash cow in its business venture. With the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King already in full swing, we're pretty sure things will heat up even more once the new expansion hits the country.

Motorcycle riding in Wrath of the Lich King confirmed with The Hog mount

The Hog shown in Wrath of the Lich King - Image 1

Blizzard's unlocked a new mount for people to try out in the Wrath of the Lich King beta, and it's an awesome-looking motorcycle called "The Hog."

According to the current information that's been made available for the new mount, it's a level 80 mount that can only be used in Outland or Northrend. Furthermore, the mount isn't restricted to engineer professions, which means that, as of this writing, anyone who's level 80 can pick up this sweet ride to make their way across Outland and Azeroth.

The only sad thing about it? There isn't a lower-leveled equivalent so that you can drive around Outland in style. Ah well, it's a small regret at least.
